Flying shear

Flying saws control and drive systems for cutting, die-cutting and/or pressing applications upon a continous moving material.

The material to work on moves at a constant speed, and the flying saw is assembled on top of a powered cart above it. When the flying saw its set to perform, the cart synchronizes its own travelling speed with the material speed, and performs its task.

This way the relative speed between the flying saw and the material is 0.

Once the task is over the cart returns to its initial position, and it is ready for the next actioning.
