Rewinding machine Num. 8 retrofit.
TORRAS PAPER has commissioned to AUGI the drive system retrofit for rewinding machine Num. 4 that the group has in production at the San Joan les Fonts (Girona) site.
The improvements in the drive system included repalcing the old PLC with a new one from Siemens S7-300 series and new DC frequency converters. The existing motors in the machine have been maintained.
Taking advantage of the machine stop to do the drive system upgrade, some additional modifications have been made to teh machine to be able to work with coated papers.
