POLYTYPE Line Retrofit
Polytype line control system retrofit.
Important italian group dedicated to manufacture complex and adhesive papers relies in AUGI to replace the control system in their Polytype Line.
The controll system and PLC are replaced, new communication networks installed, and the complete line is reprogrammed. The Siemens Master Drive and Siemens 1PH7 motors are maintained.
The entire modifications were performed in a record breaking time during Christmas holidays to place the line in production again the 2nd of January,
With the new line control system the material waste due to web breakings finished, the line acceleration time is shortened by 65%, and teh web tension control is maintained constant and stable throughout the process, even during automatic reel changeovers.
