New slitter-rewinder Roll-Slit 2050
AUGI delivers the drive system for the fifth slitter rewinder CONVEQ Roll-Slit 2050 installed in the spanish factory of an important iatlian customer.
The machine is specially designed for selfadhesive and complex papers. It has a useful wisth of 2050 mm, and is equipped with shaftless pick up unwinders for reels up to 1500 mm diameter, and automated knives and counterknives positioning.
The rewinder has friction shafts for reels up to 1 meter diameter. The working speed is 600 m/min.
Under customer specifications AUGI designed the drive and control system with VASCAT motors and Rockwell Automation hardware. The PLC from the Compact Logix series, drives Power Flex 700 S, and two touch screes to fully opereate the machine.
