New CONVEQ Roll Slit 2050 slitting rewinder machine for USA.
Important Italian group dedicated to manufacture and convert complex and auto adhesive papers, once again relies in AUGI and CONVEQ, to acquire a new slitter rewinder for the group's production plant in USA. In this case, it is a CONVEQ Roll Slit 2050.
The machine is specially designed to convert the materials produced by the customer, accepting mother reels of widths up to 2050mm. It is equipped with a shaft less pick up unwinder to load reels directly from the floor.
The rewinder is by friction shafts, allowing reel's winding up to 1 meter diameter. The 21 high positioning precision automated knives, enable the production of reels as narrow as 50 mm width, at a working speed of 600 m/min.
The drive and control system designed by AUGI is developed with Rockwell Automation hardware and SIEMENS AC motors. The PLC is a Compact Logix, Power Flex 755 frequency converters and 2 touch panels from where the entire machine is operated.
Given the machine exportation to the USA market, the drive system was built in compliance with the current UL norms.
